Made in Michigan

Modern kitchen with white cabinets, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, and hanging pendant lights. A vase with white tulips is on the table, and barstools are at the kitchen island. Light and shadows are cast on the wooden floor.
A diverse family of five posing outdoors in front of a house with siding and window with plants. The family includes a man, woman, and three children, with one girl, and two boys, all standing together.

We’re a family owned business that started in our garage. When we got married, we didn’t have any furniture, so we decided to give woodworking a try.

Ten years and countless late nights of teaching ourselves the craft later, our passion has grown into something bigger. Today, our goal is not only to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces, but also to help raise up the next generation of woodworkers.

Whether you’re looking for a handcrafted hardwood dining table, a charcuterie board, a cutting board, or a custom made sign, our family is here to bring your vision to life.

Michael took our vision of building a 7-foot donut wall and made it into reality.

We gave him a picture and the rest of the history. The donut wall was a huge hit for our Easter service and many people asked who designed it. If you are looking for someone to build you a custom piece from scratch, look no further.

The man in the middle, wearing glasses and a light gray blazer, is smiling and has his hand near his chin. There are bottles of water, papers, and a notebook on the table. The room has beige walls and dark wood paneling.

Michael did an amazing job on a custom entryway table and a full dining room table with a bench and 4 chairs.

We asked to have our entryway table match the current furniture in the home and he did an amazing job matching the colors! He even offered to bring the table by to compare colors before the final assembly. I highly recommend Howard Family Designs. Let them know what you want and they make it happen 👍

They did an amazing job with my request. I asked for a custom TV stand and provided very little help with specifics in terms of size.

They determined what suited my needs based on the size of my TV and I couldn’t be happier with the result. And it was a quick turnaround. No need to shop at the big box stores. This is the best TV stand I could have purchased and I promise you’ll appreciate the product, even more, when shopping locally.

Mike was helpful from the start and he even spoke with my son asking what his favorite colors were, and making him feel special and important during the process.

I ordered a name puzzle for my son, and it turned out perfect! From the moment I ordered to the day I received the item, it was no more than one week (I was expecting a longer time frame since I live in Georgia). I will definitely order again! Thanks!

Michael was great with communicating, provided a quick quote for custom sizes, and had them ready for us very quickly. They delivered to our home and were even better than we expected. We HIGHLY recommend Howard Family Designs!

Howard Family Designs made me beautiful customs stairs that lead to the deck on our pool to replace the unsafe and slippery ladder.

The stairs are amazing and Michael was wonderful to work with. Can’t wait for my next project idea to give him.
